Why Should You Learn ?
Anyone can learn BLS - and everyone should ! Knowing BLS means you can actually save a life when it matters most — like during a heart attack or choking. It’s simple, hands-on, and anyone can learn it. You never know when someone close to you might need it. In an emergency, the real first responder is you. As a bystander, don't be afraid. Be the reason someone gets a second chance.
Performing BLS involves a certain level of physical effort, so this activity may not be suitable for:

Those with injuries to the back, arms, or knees that could make kneeling or performing chest compressions difficult

Coronary Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Successful Completion of the Course
Participants will be awarded a Certificate of Completion and Certificate of Proficiency for medical professionals if these requirements are met :

Theory Assessment
• Pass a Pre-Test and Final Exam Test (Online multiple-choice, requires smart phone or laptop to scan QR code)
• Passing score 84% (42/50) -
Practical Skills Assessment

Demonstrate competency in:
• Adult CPR with effective chest compressions and ventilations.
• Use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
• Relief of choking (Heimlich maneuver) in adults
• Infant and child CPR/Choking Relief
3. Full Course Attendance

Complete all modules of the training (4 modules).

Participate actively in practice sessions and simulations.
4. Instructor Evaluation
-
Instructors evaluate skill performance, response time, and correct sequence of BLS steps.
Please note: Participants who do not pass the assessment will not be issued a certificate. To obtain certification, they will be required to rejoin the course and retake the assessment in a future session.
CPD Points Accreditation
8 CPD points will be awarded to registered medical practitioners (Doctors) by MMA-CPD.
6 CPD points will be awarded to registered staff nurses.
